Know Me
Hey there! I’m Shruthi (Shroo - tea), a UX Designer & Researcher who’s fascinated by how tech, design, and human behavior come together. With a background in computer science and a master’s in Human-Computer Interaction, I love solving complex problems and turning them into simple, intuitive experiences.
Whether it’s apps, websites, or motion graphics, I’m passionate about designing experiences that feel effortless, human, and maybe even a little magical. Let’s make tech not just usable, but fun!
How I leverage design as a business tool
01/ Understanding People
Everything starts with understanding the people I’m designing for. Research is the key! getting to know their needs, pain points, and behaviors. That helps me create designs that are empathetic, not just functional. The goal isn’t just meeting business needs; it’s about making sure the solutions really work for the people using them.
03/ Visual Design
04/ Iterating and Evolving
Good design is more than just looking nice; it needs to work beautifully, too. I love blending UI design with motion to add life to interfaces. Whether it’s a little animation or a smooth transition, I want users to feel like they’re flowing through the experience.
I believe in the power of iteration. After I build something, I’m always looking for feedback to make it better. The more I learn from users, the more I refine the design. It ’s a constant cycle of growth and improvement that helps me deliver something better each time.
02/ Creating Simple, Seamless Experiences
Design should feel easy, not forced. I focus on creating smooth, intuitive interactions that let users feel in control. My goal is to make complex things feel simple, and that’s where design-thinking comes into play.
Other than design, here’s what I love:
I’m a huge travel enthusiast and have visited 11 countries with my family. We all share a love for exploring new places. I also enjoy hiking and any adventure sports, skydiving is on my bucket list! I’m an amusement park fanatic and love experiencing everything from roller coasters to water rides. When I’m at home, I unwind by cooking and embracing the winter season (even though most people seem to disagree with my love for cold weather!).
